Hi! I’m a senior at Purdue University studying Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering with a specialization in systems design. I’m from Pittsburgh, PA, and I love all things space, painting, photography, and music! Thanks for visiting this page to learn more about me!
I’m excited to share this site with the intent to present my engineering portfolio, but also present a majority of the work I do in and outside of the classroom, including my hobbies.
Currently I am……back on Purdue campus (after 8 months of internships!) taking my specialization courses, applying to graduate school and preparing for my mission as an analog astronaut to the Mars Desert Research Station in December 2024!
I have been interested in a career in space since the 6th grade after participating in a simulated mission to Mars. My passions have developed into a desire to work directly with spacecraft and technology that can work on planetary surfaces. I have found that my preferred engineering disciplines are test and integration and systems engineering, as both allow me to work in the full lifecycle of a product with teams of all disciplines.
After graduation, I aspire to continue my education by completing my master’s degree in Aerospace engineering. I hope to perform my research in systems design studying lunar infrastructure and the future of space economy!
I’m also an aspiring astronaut! I’m eager for the opportunity to contribute to technological advancements in space, and one day be there myself. I am excited to take a major step this December 2024 as the crew engineer for a mission to the Mars Desert Research Station.
